Ray Manzarek, en una breve "entrevista" muleitor hecha por mi en el Hotel Neruda en Santiago de Chile. Fui muy afortunado: oi en Radio Futuro que Ray alojaba en dicho hotel, llame, pedi hablar con el y me dijo que me daria 2 minutos para charlar un poco. Vol hacia el lugar y prometi lo cumplido. Muy simpatico y afable, me autografi una copia de vinilo del disco Other Voices ( justo sobre su foto ) y pese a mi muy mal ingls, pudimos llevar la mini entrevista sin problemas. Como no soy profesional, no tenia microfono ni nada - por ello el audio es regular-, estaba en horario de trabajo, pedi permiso, tome mi auto, fui por mis camaras y ....
No me la poda creer, hablar con una leyenda del rock, tal vez con el tecladista mas creativo de este genero musical, con el compaero de Jim Morrison... conoci la musica de The Doors en mi epoca adolescente cuando carreteaba en Horcon , y esto definitivamente era un sueo hecho realidad.
Este mismo dia, en la noche, se van a presentar como Riders on The Storm en el Teatro Caupolican, ojala en otro gran concierto como el de 2004.
Mierda, de puro fanatico uno hace cada wea...
